CASE OF THE DAY
 
Different cases will be displayed in the designated poster area from Thursday, November 6 to Friday, November 7, 2008 from 8. am to 4 pm giving registrants the opportunity to take part in the quiz and check the results in the evening of the same day or on the following day. The participant who solves the most cases will receive a diploma and will be announced in the EHNR newsletter. The coordinators of the ESHNR 2008 Case of the Day competition are Romain Kohler and Karen Masterson, Geneva.

JUNIOR RADIOLOGIST FILM READING SESSION: GIRLS VERSUS BOYS
 
The Junior Radiologist Film Reading Session is an entertaining and challenging radiological quiz for trainee and junior radiologists. This year’s Film reading panel is entitled “Girls versus Boys” and will oppose two teams of three to four radiologists in training from different parts of Europe (one female team and one male team) who will compete against each other. Panelists will be chosen from authors whose papers were accepted for presentation or who have accepted posters. In addition, panelists can apply via the webpage. Each team will have the opportunity to solve several unknown cases and answer joker questions. A referee will ensure that the panelists comply with the rules and will adjudicate on the awarding of marks. The team who solves most of the cases will receive a diploma and will be announced in the ESHNR newsletter. The organizer of the Junior Radiologists Film Reading Session is Prof. Martin Mack, Frankfurt, Germany.
